Explosion Proof air conditioner is available in both cooling-only and cooling & heating versions in T1, T2, and T3 to meet the different requirements of low, medium and high temperature regions.
The Explosion-proof air conditioner is based on a well-known brand and is modified by applying explosion-proofing measures to both the indoor and outdoor units. Measures to protect the outdoor unit include: (by using special techniques and controls) perform explosion-proof modifications to internal control units, compressor, outdoor fan motor, protection system, heat-removal system, cooling system, etc. An Explosion-proof control box and sensor system with intrinsic safety are used. The outline dimensions and installation procedures are the same as the original unit after explosion-proof treatment is applied. Indoor unit: (by using special techniques and controls) dismantle the internal control units and design an explosion-proof structure which enables explosion-proof control box separation. A remote control and sensor system with intrinsic safety are used. The outline dimensions and installation are the same as the original after explosion-proof modifications.
PLEASE NOTE: IECEx certification only applies to the cooling only BKF models. The reverse cycle heating and cooling BKF(R) models in IIB gas class are not IECEx certified.
